Natya Rehab & Wellness, a wing of Right Stack PT is a program created specifically for dancers practicing South Asian dance forms to help with pain, injury prevention, and pain management.
Natya Rehab is founded by Dr. Divya Raghavan who is a Doctor of Physical Therapy with board certification in orthopedics. She’s a trained Bharatanatyam dancer, a Bollywood dance performer, and a Kathak student. She was a physical therapist at the Google wellness centers for several years before starting her practice in Sunnyvale CA.
While practicing the art, Dr. Divya uncovered a dance dilemma: a lack of awareness and resources for injury prevention in South Asian art.
Her solution?
Specially curated exercises for Bharatanatyam dancers through the lens of Physical Therapy. The virtual class will focus on injury prevention while promoting strength, stability, Rehab and mobility amongst other things.
