Dear Dancer,

Welcome to Natya, where Dr.Divya's passion for dance meets her dedication to injury prevention.

Unleash the dancer in you! Elevate your art with key insights from Dr. Divya on injury prevention. Discover the importance of postural re-education, muscular balance, and flexibility in dance. Our resources empower you with the knowledge to prevent injuries and embrace a lifelong dance journey.

Natya Rehab & Wellness, a wing of Right Stack PT is a program created specifically for dancers practicing South Asian dance forms to help with pain, injury prevention, and pain management.

Natya Rehab is founded by Dr. Divya Raghavan who is a Doctor of Physical Therapy with board certification in orthopedics. She’s a trained Bharatanatyam dancer, a Bollywood dance performer, and a Kathak student. She was a physical therapist at the Google wellness centers for several years before starting her practice in Sunnyvale CA.

Did you know?

  • 50% of dancers have had dance-related injuries (knee, hip, pelvic, and back pain) and did not take action.

  • 71% of dancers have been in pain while dancing or exercising.

  • 85% feel that they need to improve their posture and form and want help with injury awareness and prevention.

  • A study pointed out that increased lumbar lordosis and anterior pelvic tilt were observed in Bharatanatyam dancers as compared to non-dancers.

  • 91% of the people who could have benefited from physical therapy chose not to do it.

While practicing the art, Dr. Divya uncovered a dance dilemma: a lack of awareness and resources for injury prevention in South Asian art.

Her solution?

Redefine the learning pedagogy, ensuring every dancer can thrive with rehab and prehab practices
